Rigging of 600 Year Old Oldest White Oak Tree

Recent photos of the rigging of the oldest white oak in America to prepare for the arduous initial break-cuts. A 12 hour day for six men resulted in a single cut being made.

The tree stands approximately 100 feet. The circumference of its trunk is 18 feet.  We will continue to post updates as work progresses.
