THE CHALLENGE
The project scope included:
- Rigging and removal of two boilers and three chillers from an active commercial facility
- Performing all work without disrupting surrounding operations
- Operating under a tight project schedule as part of a larger renovation effort
- Navigating confined spaces, including tight door openings and sensitive floor areas
- Ensuring zero damage to surrounding equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings
- Meeting safety and logistical demands posed by units weighing up to 50,000 lbs
- Coordinating with the client’s preparation, including line isolation and fluid drainage
- Transporting disassembled sections to a predetermined facility for further processing and recycling
THE EXECUTION
The team completed the project safely, on schedule, and without incident.
