Major Manufacturing facility upgrade
Heritage Industrial Services Inc. completed a significant contract for a major manufacturing facility upgrade. The project encompassed both the removal of existing equipment and the installation of new assembly and fabrication equipment.
Heritage provided essential rigging support to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Maintenance Technicians by unloading equipment from storage, transporting it to designated positions, and using specialized techniques to position and stabilize each piece securely. Throughout the installation, Heritage ensured the safe and efficient integration of the equipment by continuing to support the rigging needs of the OEM technicians.

THE CHALLENGE
Heritage successfully decommissioned and dismantled existing equipment, including:
- Complete dismantling of the Looper and associated office space
- Removal and decommissioning of blocking lines 1 and 2
- Removal of the 60-foot crane while preserving the hoist and rails for future use
- Dismantling of two overhead furnaces, including the heater and make-up air systems
- Complete dismantling of the furnace visco racking system
- Removal and dismantling of the 60-foot bun transfer conveyor
THE EXECUTION
The project was completed safely, within budget, and to our customer’s complete satisfaction.
