
Successful Removal of Reverse Osmosis (RO) System
Heritage recently completed a challenging project involving removing a complete Reverse Osmosis (RO) system from a customer’s facility. The project presented unique challenges due to limited access to the equipment within the building.
Due to limited access within the building, the Heritage team devised a creative solution. The equipment was removed through the side of the building utilizing a strategically positioned crane. This approach ensured safe and efficient removal while minimizing disruption to customer operations.

THE CHALLENGE
The project scope included:
- Meticulous planning and coordination to ensure the safe and efficient removal of all components
- Removal of two 2,100-gallon stainless steel tanks
- Disassemble and remove the piping and components of a Clean-In-Place (CIP) system
- Technicians used a crane and other specialized lifting equipment to handle heavy and bulky equipment safely
THE EXECUTION
The Heritage team worked diligently to minimize disruption to the customer’s ongoing operations throughout the removal process. The company completed the project on schedule and within budget to the customer’s satisfaction.
